Oooh, I await entries with interest! :D
I am a 17 year old piano player, singer, arranger, drummer, composer/songwriter.
My interests of composition are dispersed in many genres, including: jazz, fusion, indie rock, folk, funk, soul, hip-hop, and electronica.
the track that I am submitting for the competition is called “far”.

it’s a song about loss.
@Victor X.
Thanks Victor for your interest in this competition! However, I cannot accept your submission until you follow the format exactly as I’ve demonstrated. In particular, you must provide the score to your piece. Don’t worry, you have plenty of time left before the deadline to resubmit your entry.
@Alphonse Nguyen
Hey, Alphose. I was wondering what you meant by “score”. Thanks
Score is basically the sheet music :P
@Anthony H
Hey Anthony. Yeah, the score is just the sheet music, the written parts for all of the instruments. You can either provide a score using a program like Finale, or do it old-school by scanning a handwritten version.
Eh, I completely forgot about this contest…
…Seeing as it seems there’s only one entry (which isn’t even legit in terms of format), could ya extend the deadline to something like end of September? I’m sure many more people would then be interested.
*totally not saying that cause haven’t started on composition yet ^^;*
Sorry, but I can’t extend the deadline. I need a set date in order to keep this contest as professional as possible, plus the judges will be too busy in September to look at the entries. Also, once school starts many people won’t have time for the contest.
Oh well. How many entries do ya have anyways…?
