All my life, I’ve been aware of the existence of the Hyundai Sonata and the Honda Prelude. Their musical names easily grabbed my attention. I mean, what kid with hopes of becoming a composer wouldn’t dream of driving a Sonata? I’d buy a Concerto or Symphony if they existed!
Lately, I’ve noticed more cars out there with names that are musically based. I believe there’s a Fugue, but I’m not entirely sure. Definitely there’s a Kia Forte. So I decided to come up with more car names for fun. I was going to use names like Veloce and Bravura, but they were already taken up.
So what do you guys think of:
- The Impromptu
- The Tonic
- The Brillante
How about the GM Requiem? Or the Mercedes-Benz K-series (in reference to Mozart’s numbering system)? Or Volkswagen Wagner?
GM Requiem… that’s quite sarcastic. I wouldn’t mind driving a black Nocturne though.
I would be interested in a Ferrari Prestissimo, or a Fiat Crescendo, if it’s cheaper… However, a Lamborghini Impetuoso, would be perfect ! But the Volvo Sostenuto and the Skoda Cantabile are quite good too. The only thing is that I don’t know where to buy them. Does anyone knows ? ;-)
